Healthy Calves are priceless.

Immuno-Chek G™ Bovine IgG is a point of care test to measure Bovine Calf IgG in 10 min.

IgG levels of all calves should be routinely measured after first suckling (between 24-48 hours old). Calves are born with no circulating antibodies (IgG) and must receive adequate antibodies from the cow's colostrum. Up to 40% of newborn calves have low IgG levels, placing them at high risk for infection, serious illness, or death. Low IgG may result from premature lactation, poor suckling, malabsorption, or low-quality colostrum. An IgG test measures whether a calf's IgG level is normal, low, or very low.
